With over 20 years in mental health care, Brandy graduated with a Master's in Education with an emphasis in Community Counseling from the University of North Texas. She served as the head of the counselor department and Director of Clinical Services at Brighter Tomorrows Domestic Violence Agency for 17 years.

 

In addition, Brandy holds a degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Sociology from Southern Methodist University. 

​

She is the founder of Purple Paws, a relief program for victims of violence and their pets, and the proud mother of two fur babies. Freya, our team therapy-Pomeranian love ball, accompanies Brandy in sessions.
