Brandy graduated with a Master in Education with an emphasis in Community Counseling from the University of North Texas. She served as the head of the counselor department, Director of Clinical Services Services, at Brighter Tomorrows Domestic Violence Agency for 17 years.

 

In addition, Brandy holds a degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Sociology from Southern Methodist University. 

​

She is the founder of Purple Paws, a relief program for victims of violence and their pets and the proud mother of two fur babies.
