A Message From Erin:

Many people reach a point in their lives when they feel stuck. You want to move forward, but you feel powerless and don’t know where to turn for help. I am a faith-based Pastoral/Biblical Counselor, and I use an integrated model of faith and psychological understanding to help people process and heal from trauma and life's difficulties.  It is my role and my business to help counselees see themselves out of their mess and seek and implement the solutions that got them into their problems. Using solution-based Biblical principles, warmth, psycho-educational tools, and patience, I work with you through in-person and virtual appointments to deliver lasting, positive change that will help you find the change and healing you seek.

Erin holds a PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary, a dual Master's in Theological & Cultural Anthropology from Eastern University, a Graduate Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary & Master's Level Certification from the Riley Biblical Counseling Institute, and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. She is the founder and lead faculty member of Higher Hopes Institute, the Veteran Empowerment Therapy Program (VETP) for American Legion Veterans and their families, and the Director of BIPP Programming for Batterer Intervention Programs in Hunt, Rockwall, and Kaufman Counties.  Erin served the non-profit sector as the Sr. Director of Education & Prevention of Brighter Tomorrows Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Agency and New Beginning Center/Hopes Door for over a decade, and is a Family Violence & Victim Advocate for victims of violence.

Erin is the author of Rock Me Right, Musical Chairs Pre-marital Education Program, We Expect Respect Family Violence Program, Life Lessons, and a past columnist in Lifestyle Magazine, Suburban Style, D Magazine/D Weddings, Living Magazine, and co-host of the He Said It First Podcast and host of the Life Lessons Show. Erin and her husband own Rockwall Heath Counseling. She loves leading this amazing group of Dallas-based counselors and therapists, who provide superior counseling care for the Dallas community right here in Rockwall-Heath, TX.
